ALBANY, NY – On Wednesday, May 14, 2025, Schuyler Mansion State Historic Site will open for the 2025 season. During the season, which runs through October 31, 2025, Schuyler Mansion will open for tours Wednesdays through Sundays, from 10:30am-5:00pm. Guided tours of the mansion run hourly, with the first tour beginning at 11:00am, and the final tour for the day at 4:00pm.
In commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution, tours this year will end with a new exhibit, “Treachery, Treason, & Tariffs: 1775, the Revolution Begins.” Space is limited on tours, so reservations are recommended. Reserve your spot by calling the museum at 518-434-0834. Tours last approximately an hour. Admission: $5.00 Adults / $4.00 Seniors & Students / Free Children (12 and under).
June through September, Schuyler Mansion will offer special focus tours on Thursdays and Saturdays at 2:00pm. During the month of June, the focus tour will be “Women of Schuyler Mansion.” In July and August, the focus tour will be “When Alexander Hamilton Called Albany Home.” And in September, the focus tour will be “Hear Them Now: Stories of the Enslaved.” Focus tours last approximately 60-75 minutes. Focus tour admission: $7.00 Adults / $6.00 Seniors & Students / Free Children (12 and under).
During open hours, visitors are welcomed to explore the site’s historical grounds and Visitor Center. Both are free and open to the public. The Visitor Center contains the exhibit “Son of Albany: Philip Schuyler’s Mark on a New Nation,” as well as new interactive “Revisit the Revolution” kiosk provided by the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation.
